When inspecting siding, we look for small dents caused by hail on all elevations or boards that have been separated from the property due to high winds. For interior leaks, we first inspect the surrounding infrastructure to see if there is plumbing near the leaks. If so, insurance companies correlate the leak to the plumbing, but if there is no surrounding plumbing, the leak can be correlated to damage from the roof.
